Monday night at about 8:50, Officer Katie Snell responded to a suspicious person call at a shopping center in the 4100 block of Buffalo Gap Road. A concerned citizen had notified APD dispatch about a male subject associated with a pickup truck whom had been allegedly walking around vehicles asking for money from several people. Officer Snell arrived at the shopping center and spotted the subject that fit the description provided by the calling party. Officer Snell observed the man on the property contacting an employee from one of the businesses. Officer Snell then contacted the subject and he identified himself. A records check confirmed that the subject had been previously warned not to trespass on the property. A complaint affidavit was obtained and the subject was arrested for misdemeanor Criminal Trespass.

Monday night at about 11:15, Officer John Lopez contacted a male subject in the 2700 block of Clinton Street for a traffic violation; the subject was riding his bicycle at night time without a light. During the preliminary investigation, Officer Lopez asked the subject to display an ID, but the subject stated he did not possess one at the time but identified himself to Officer Lopez with a specific name and date of birth. A records check confirmed Officer Lopez' suspicion which led Officer Lopez to confront the subject about his true identity. The investigation revealed that the subject had provided false information about his identity. A records check also confirmed that the subject had four outstanding municipal arrest warrants with fines totaling $2,082.50. The subject was arrested for his warrants and for misdemeanor Failure to Identify.

Tuesday morning at about 1:35 a.m., Officer Carye Adkins responded to a check welfare call at the intersection of North 8 and Hickory Streets. APD dispatch had been notified by a concerned citizen whom reported the driver of a truck was passed out behind the steering wheel at the intersection. Officer Kevin Pyeatt and his K-9 assisted on this call. Officer Adkins observed the vehicle in the intersection and that the male driver appeared to be sleeping behind the steering wheel. Officer Adkins contacted the male driver and also observed that the driver displayed indicators of intoxication. The driver agreed to conduct standard field sobriety tests. The driver performed those tests poorly. The K-9 alerted on the vehicle for the presence of narcotics during the investigation and the vehicle was searched. The vehicle search revealed the presence of marijuana and prescription medications. The driver was also searched and he was found to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. A records check confirmed the driver had eight outstanding municipal arrest warrants with fines totaling $3,439.75. The driver was arrested for his warrants and for the following misdemeanor offenses: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Alprazolam), Possession of Marijuana, DWI and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Clonazepam). The driver refused to provide a specimen of his breath or blood.
