Convicted Murderer Back in County Jail

A convicted murderer is back in the Taylor County jail, transferred from a prison where he is serving a 25 year sentence.

Alfred James Williams was convicted of the shooting death of 22-year-old Kareon Harness in october of 2011 at the Little Elm condos apparently over money.

Several witnesses heard and saw the shooting, even trying to help Harness after he had been shot.

Williams is back at the Taylor County jail in preparation for a hearing this Friday in the 350th district court.

His attorney will be withdrawing from his case if the judge allows it, and he will get another lawyer for his appeals process.
