The teams shared buckets for most of the 1st half. The Indians going inside for most of the baskets, and Tornillo using the 3-pointer to stay close. Jim Ned led 35-30 at the half.
Tornillo even took the lead in the 3rd quarter, but that's when Jim Ned's Will Bryant took over. He had a finger roll in the quarter that gave Jim Ned the lead for good, and he iced the game with a dunk in the 4th quarter.
The Indians outscored Tornillo in the 4th, 18-8 for the 14 point difference.
Head coach Steve Bryant said, "We knew our size could be an advantage. We didn't take advantage of it like we wanted to, but the back door cut that we got was designed. The 2 big guys came through."
The Indians play in the Regional Tournament at 7:30 on Friday.
