Hawley Family Loses Home in Fire

A Hawley family is counting their blessing after losing their home in a fire.

Wednesday afternoon just before 1, Hawley and Anson fire crews were called out to a house fire just south east of Hawley.

The home was completely engulfed in flames, which burned away most of the structure.

Smoke from the flames could be seen as far as south Abilene.

The family of three was able to escape safely from the home without injuries.
