Reminder: St. Patty's Day 8k to Benefit Abilene Hope Haven

The St. Patty's Day 8k will benefit Abilene Hope Haven this year. 

The 8k (4.97 mile road race) takes place on Saturday, March 16 at 8:00 a.m. inside Redbud Park.  You can register online at active.com or visit www.abilenehopehaven.com/events/st-pattys-day-8k/ to download a registration form.

Regular registration runs through March 10 for $25. Late and Race Day registration is $30.  

Packet pick-up and late registration will be held on Friday, March 15 at Abilene Hope Haven, 801 South Treadaway from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Packet pick-up and race day registration will also be available on Saturday morning at the park beginning at 6:30 a.m.

Green long sleeve t-shirts will be guaranteed for all pre-registered runners.  Race awards to overall/master & 1st, 2nd, 3rd in 5-year age groups.

All proceeds from this event will benefit the local non-profit Abilene Hope Haven.

Abilene Hope Haven's mission is Curing Homelessness, One Person at a Time. AHH serves as a transitional housing program for homeless individuals or families for up to one year. AHH provides housing, food, transportation, childcare and life skill training up to one year at no cost to residents.
