The phrase "what a difference a day makes" could not be truer today. We are waking up with temperatures only around the 40 degree mark and are going to wind up being about 30 degrees colder today across the Big Country, only making it into the upper 50's.

Tonight we will fall back below freezing for the first time in a few days and it is going to be a cold start to your Wednesday.

The good news for those warm weather lovers is that we are expecting a warming trend, making it back to the mid 60's under mostly sunny skies for Wednesday.

More warmth by Thursday as we return to the 70's.

It looks like we should remain in the 70's for Friday, however a few additional clouds as the next storm system approaches.

Saturday we may see a few sprinkles throughout the day, but it appears that the brunt of the storm will move through Saturday night into Sunday, with the potential for some severe weather.

Sunday morning the clocks spring ahead and after the storm system moves out, we should clear up and see the sun return and temperatures in the mid 60's.
