AHS Eagles Fall In District Opener To Odessa

The Abilene High Eagles finally playing their District 2-5A opener this afternoon as the Eagles hosting Odessa High at Blackburn Field.
Top of the first... Mark Pearson gets the Eagles out of the inning with this strike out.
And they don't miss a beat on offense.. a past ball for Connor Durrington allows Derek Scott to come in. He slides and hes safe to make it a 1-0 ballgame.
The Bronchos pull into the lead in the 6th with a 2 run inning. Abilene high able to answer with a run of their own, but the Bronchos 2 additional runs makes the final score 4-2 in favor of Odessa.
