An above freezing morning this morning with temperatures just falling below the 50 degree mark. As we get through today it looks like we will have mostly sunny skies with temperatures getting into the mid 70's.

Tonight we should remain comfortable staying in the mid 50's for your overnight low as a few clouds begin to roll in.

By tomorrow, the clouds will be in full force across most of West-Central Texas as the next storm system approaches. The clouds should keep the temperatures from getting too warm, allowing us to peak right around 70 degrees.

Saturday we should see rain at any point throughout the day, most likely in the afternoon and evening with temperatures in the low 70's and then overnight Saturday into Sunday, the Eastern counties may see a line of strong storms pass through as the cold front charges through the area.

Sunday afternoon should shape up to be a colder one behind that cold front only getting near 60 degrees, but the sun should be plentiful as high pressure builds in behind the system.

A rapid warming trend should have us back up to the upper 70's by midweek with plenty of sunshine.

The Storm Prediction Center has The Big Country in an area with a risk for a "non-severe" thunderstorms tonight. As far as numbers go, I'm going with a 30% chance across the area for showers/t'storms. Remember, some of these could pulse up and reach severe levels, with the greatest concerns being large hail and damaging winds. Tomorrow, we'll have a 20% chance for showers/t'storms, once again.
