Nolan County to Consider New Jail

By: BCH News Staff
Updated: March 7, 2013
The Nolan County Commissioner's Court is scheduled to consider the issues of building a new county jail.

The jail is on the agenda for Monday's meeting where they will consider the architect's plans for the almost $10 million jail and sheriff's office.

The old jail in the Nolan County Courthouse in downtown Sweetwater has been over-crowded for years.

Voters approved bonds for the new jail during last November's election.
