Webcast: The Rattlesnake Roundup Starts Thursday in Sweetwater

The 55th annual Sweetwater Rattlesnake Roundup starts Thursday afternoon.

It starts with the rattlesnake parade through downtown Sweetwater at 4:30. The Miss Snakecharmer pageant is scheduled Thursday evening

The actual Rattlesnake Roundup with safety demonstrations and exhibits begins Friday at the Nolan County Coliseum.

The Rattlesnake Roundup is the biggest tourism event of the year in Sweetwater. Thousands of visitors are expected from all over the country, and likely from foreign countries.
