D. Madison Beats Wylie In Semi's, 92-55

The Bulldogs started the game well and led by 4 points on 2 different occasions at 9-5 and 12-8, but that's when the Trojans and Admon Gilder took over. Gilder scored 17 of a team high 25 in the 1st quarter to lead Madison to a 26-19 lead.
The 2nd and 3rd quarters were even worse for Wylie. Madison outscored Wylie 48 to 12 in the 2nd and 3rd frames to build a 74 to 31 lead heading into the 4th quarter.
Madison shot 61% on 36-59 shooting. Gilder was 9-of-11 from the field and 7-of-8 from beyond the 3-pt line.
While the Trojans were shooting lights out, Wylie went scoreless from :41 left in the 2nd quarter to 1:21 left in the 3rd quarter.
Mike Lopez led the Bulldogs in scoring with 18 points. Duane Hopper was the only other Wylie player in double digits with 10 points.
Dallas Madision advances to the state finals with the 92-55 victory.
Wylie finishes the season with a 34-5 record.
