St. Patrick's Day Fun

The masses came out Saturday afternoon for a good old fashion Irish celebration.

It was a sea of green at Bar 14 in Abilene for the the Saint Patrick's Day Festival.

Crawfish were boiled for everyone to enjoy and of course, thirsty souls relished on some festive green beer.

The event also featured live music from six bands for the entire community to enjoy.

"I think this is really good for Abilene. I think it's about time some local businesses stepped up and did something really fun and exciting. It's not very often in Abilene you have somebody set up a tent in the parking lot with bands and craft beer," says Robert Morris.

The event started at two o'clock and carried on throughout the entire day.
