As this week gets underway, we have a pleasant start in store, with mostly sunny skies to be expected Monday and temperatures making it back into the low 70s.

A few clouds will begin to build in overnight Monday before our next series of disturbances make it into the area.

Tonight's temperature should fall into the mid 40s behind the passage of a weak cold front.

Tuesday, it is looking like we will start off partly cloudy and, as the day progresses, clouds will begin to fill in across the entire Big Country.

Temperatures should still make it into the low 70s as we will have the nice winds out of the south.

Tuesday night into Wednesday morning should be our best chance to see some showers across the area, most likely in the Southern and Eastern counties.

Wednesday we may see showers at any point throughout the day, with the chances at 20 percent and temperatures a bit cooler behind the front, in the upper 60s.

A rapid warming for Thursday as it looks like we get back near the 80 degree mark under partly cloudy skies.

We clear out by Friday and the cooler air is here for the weekend with temperatures expected to peak in the upper 60s on Friday, mid 60s on Saturday, and lower 60s by Sunday.
