Peyton Manning was the keynote speaker at the Abilene Day Nursery's True Heroes Banquet at the Abilene Civic Center on Tuesday night.

A large crowd packed the civic center on Tuesday night for the banquet, and Manning's speech. After a speech by the head of the day nursery, and a video, Manning was introduced by former Cooper Cougar Justin Snow.

Snow was also a teammate of Manning's during his time with the Indianapolis Colts.

Besides highlighting Manning's career accomplishments as a player, Snow also recounted a story from his rookie year in the NFL that involved Manning.

Following Manning's speech, there was a question  and answers segment. The questions were taken in advance and were read in part by BCH Sports Director David Robinett.
