Abilene Firefighters Put Out Duplex Fire

By: BCH Staff
Updated: March 20, 2013
Around 8 pm wednesday evening, 911 callers said they could see smoke and flames coming from one side of a duplex on Lynnwood near South Leggett. One half of the duplex is unoccupied, but people do live on the side where the fire was, but they weren't at home. It took just a few minutes for firefighters to get things under control. Investigators were looking for a cause, and thought the fire might have been set on purpose.
