ACU Hosts "Hot Seat" Discussion

ACU played host to a political discussion Friday afternoon.
State Senator Troy Fraser and State Representative Susan King participated in the discussion.
They went over a variety of topics and pressing matters of the 83 legislative session, including statewide education.
We talked to the moderator of today's event about the goal of these university discussions.
"Unfortunately in a lot of cases, the information does not get from Austin to your community as easily as it once upon a time did," sayd moderator Evan Smith. "So we are bringing state lawmakers back home, giving them the opportunity to answer pointed questions about the work they are doing."
Today's event was just one installment of the "Hot Seat" conversation series which will be held at several universities across Texas.
