Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport has lower airfares for Thanksgiving weekend. Travelers can expect to save $60 to $70 on average on flights to top travel destinations.

Although airfare is cheaper, travelers need to consider a 5 hour round-trip driving time to DFW, miles and gas on your vehicle, and parking at DFW airport.

Adding time and money spent on traveling to DFW for your flight equals to costing you almost the same as if you fly out of Abilene Regional Airport.

Many travels say they enjoy the convenience of flying out of Abilene and enjoy the changes the airport has made, including the parking lot that will be opening by Thanksgiving.
