Abilene Police Blotter

Last night, at about 10:20 P.M., Officer Weise stopped a vehicle in the 1100 block of Minter. The driver, a 39 year old white male, was intoxicated and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

Later, at about 12:30 A.M., Officer Herd was dispatched to a vehicle accident call in the 1300 block of Glenwood. One of the drivers, a 27 year old white male, attempted to leave the scene but was detained. This subject was intoxicated and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated With An Accident. He had one prior conviction for DWI.

Finally, at about 3:35 A.M., Officer Allen was dispatched to a suspicious subject/possible burglary call at N. 6th and Kirkwood. Officer Allen contacted a 28 year old black male. This subject was found to have four local warrants for his arrest and he was also found to be in possession of marijuana. The subject was arrested for Possession Of Marijuana and for the warrants.
