George Gibson grew up with very little. "They were very, very poor, they made very little money, in those days I couldn't even have an ice cream bar... it was so bad," Gibson said.
Now that he is a successful business owner, he owns George Gibson Motors, he needs nothing for Christmas.
So Gibson decided to share some of his fortune with shoppers at the Mall of Abilene.
In just one hour, Gibson handed out 97 $20 bills and four $100 bills. All together, Gibson gave over $2300 in just one day.
"I feel like I need to give back to somebody, it's so neat," said one recipient.
"You don't have to do that!" said another.
"It made me feel good, and I would like to make somebody feel good," said another lucky shopper.
And Gibson says, that while some of the recipients may think he's crazy, he hopes the money will bless them as he has been blessed by God.
