Salvation Army Feast(5:35pm)

By: Brittany Pelletz
Updated: December 26, 2008
Food and fun were found at the Salvation Army early today.

While members of the community enjoyedd their Christmas feast, guests not only got to enjoy their food but also entertainment when the volunteers broke into song.

The guests even participated in the Christmas carols.

The meal included turkey, yams, crescent rolls, vegetables, fruit, and a variety of desserts such as cakes, cookies, and candy.

Volunteers found the experience very rewarding to bring a Christmas meal to others.

There were so many volunteers at the Salvation Army to help out on Christmas day they may have outnumbered the diners.

Overall this year's Christmas feast was yet another big success.
