Holiday ShoppingRetailers slashed prices on every item from clothes to electronics, fearing that low pre-holiday sales were a sign of what today's sales might look like.

December 26th is a day all about returning unwanted gifts and, while you're at the store anyway, buying the things you really wanted but didn't get on Christmas.

While many people were out shopping today it has more to do with after holiday sales than it does with returning gifts. Many shopping areas across the country reported fewer shoppers, but with stores advertising sales up to 70% off on popular items, the Mall of Abilene and other stores were packed throughout the day with Abilene shoppers.
