Grace Museum Cuts Back Staff

By: Laura Kellerman
Updated: December 29, 2008
Citing budgetary and managerial reasons, the executive director of the Grace Museum, Francine Carraro, announced that the director of marketing and public relations position, held by Dan Carpetner, has been eliminated.

“This was a difficult decision, and was carefully considered in light of the difficult economic times for non-profit organizations,” Carraro said in a press release.

Carpenter held the position for four years and was informed of the decision Monday morning.  He was given a severance package.

"I know whatever is next for me will be awesome," Carpenter said in an email.
