Local authorities are asking the public for help in locating a burglary suspect.

"Donnie W. Mallard has managed to elude the police on several occasions," said Det. Gary Jeslep with Abilene Crime Stoppers.

The Taylor County Sheriff Office has a warrant out for Mallard for burglary of a habitation and surety withdrawal of a $25,000 bond.

Crime Stoppers is offering $500 for information that leads to Mallard's arrest.
