Gaming is growing in the world of professional sports, as well as in Abilene. To bring more attention to the players in West Texas, The Gamerz Dome owner, Michial Ratliff is hosting weekly competition on different video games.
Today was the first competition and competitors played on teams of 4 against each other at Halo 3. Ratliff and other players are hoping that these and other competitions will bring attention from the professional circuit and from sponsers.
They're hoping by the end of the year to have some Abilene and other Big Country players playing in a professional competition.
