By: Austin Kellerman
Updated: January 6, 2009
A truck fire quicky grew out-of-control this morning spreading to a home.

This happened just before 6 a.m. in the 5200 Block of Questa Drive. Fire officials say the home was already on fire when they arrived. Within minutes, three fire engines, a ladder truck, a fire investigator and a Battalion Chief were battling the flames.

Everyone inside the home got out safely and no major damage was done to the interior. Investigators say a majority of the damage occured to the exterior siding, a few support members, electrical wiring, and attic insulation.

The pickup was heavily damaged. The fire appears to have originated in the engine compartment.

This fire is still under investigation. There is no damage estimate as of this report.
