She gardens, keeps Johnston Elementary beautiful, and teaches her students how to have fun learning.Jean Dotson is a second grade teacher at Johnston Elementary that has been teaching for 30 years.
"I love it. It's a lot of fun and it's fun to watch the kids get excited about learning," said Dotson.
Many of her students say the best part of second grade has been the science. Dotson has taught the students about fossils, plants, wildlife, and a special project all about balancing.
"There's like a lot of science, and it's like fun," said Issac Salinas, second grade student.
