Fire Weather Watch Friday

 The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a fire weather watch Friday for the Big Country.

A developing lee trough will bring gusty southwest winds Friday.  Twenty-foot winds around 20 mph will combine with dry fuels and temperatures in the mid to upper 70s to bring critical fire weather danger.
Fisher, Nolan, Haskell, Throckmorton, Jones, Shackelford, Taylor, Callahan
Fire weather watch in effect from 10 am Friday morning through 4 pm Friday afternoon.

A fire weather watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible red flag warnings.
