Fire Weather Watch Friday

The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a fire weather watch Friday for the Big Country.A developing lee trough will bring gusty southwest winds Friday. Twenty-foot winds around 20 mph will combine with dry fuels and temperatures in the mid to upper 70s to bring critical fire weather danger.

A fire weather watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible red flag warnings.
