Last night, Officer Poyner was dispatched to a check welfare call in the 1700 block of North 1st. Citizens had reported a 44 year old hispanic male that was staggering down the middle of the road. Officer Poyner contacted the subject, found he was intoxicated, and arrested the subject for Public Intoxication.
Later, Officer Jefferson contacted a subject in reference to a disturbance in the 200 block of South Pioneer. The 31 year old black male was yelling and cursing, trying to start a fight. The subject was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.
Finally, Officer McPherson stopped a vehicle in the 400 block of South 3rd. The driver, a 46 year old white male, was intoxicated and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. The suspect had three prior convictions for DWI.
