Many residents in Taylor, Callahan and Jones counties received a letter in the mail and it caught many people off guard.

The House of Yahweh sent out numerous letters to people all over and we caught up with some people that received this letter to get their reaction.

Jack Chamberlain's first reaction was that the letter in the mail was a request for money, but when he read the letter he found out it wasn't quite like that.

He says that while he read the words from the House of Yahweh leader, Yisrayl Hawkins, it had little affect on him.

He even wondered if it were a move to influence people before his trial, but the Callahan county district attorney assures it won't have any influence on potential jurors.

Still, many are wondering why they received this letter.

One of the statements they made was that they believe they have been portrayed unfairly.

Yisrayl points to the constant mention of their religion in the news; however, many people feel the portrayal has been fair or even downplayed.
