As adults age, it's important to remain active in both body and mind. One group at the Rose Park Senior Center in Abilene is doing just that by playing bridge.
The bridge players say, "It keeps our minds active...and we have a lot of fun and enjoy each others' company."
There are many activities seniors can do to keep their minds and bodies active. Research shows playing card games like bridge engages the mind, making them analyze and think. It also gives them a social like, which seniors say is the best part.Doctors say playing bridge could also reduce the risk of some diseases like Alzheimer's.
