Brownwood Chamber Scam

By: Manny Diaz
Updated: January 13, 2009

A marketing company claiming to be affiliated with the Brownwood Chamber of Commerce has recently reached out to members of the chamber requesting personal information.

But according to the Brownwood Chamber they have no working relationship with the company.

If in doubt a chamber member is contacted they're asked to confirm the chamber's relationship with the company before they choose to participate.

For future reference the Brownwood Chamber of Commerce has said that they will always try to inform their members in advance of any marketing company of which the chamber may be affiliated with.
