The Taylor County Expo Center will soon be hosting a Livestock show beginning January 14th and running through January 16th.

A special Premium Auction will be held for one day on Sunday, January 17th at 12:30p.m.

There will be shows throughout the day during the normal run featuring a variety of livestock ranging from goats, steers and heifers, to rabbits, poultry and lambs.

Excellent displays of showmanship will be rewarded with Belt Buckles for the swine, lamb, goat, poultry, rabbit, and beef divisions.

There will also be a special scholarship presented by the Community Foundation of Abilene in honor of Johnathon Tschaar.

The scholarship is worth $1,000 for a year and all 4H and FFA members exhibiting in the livestock show are eligible.

Applications for the scholarship can be obtained at the show in the office, or by calling 325 - 676 - 3883.
