Brownwood Weekend Car Burglaries

 There was a rash of car burglaries over the weekend in Brownwood.

Four car burglaries took place Sunday morning between the 500 block area of Cordell, and the 1300 block of Hall.

Some of the items stolen were a CD player, a satellite radio, an iPod, 60 CDs, and somewhere between $30 to $40 in change.

Police state that a 17-year-old boy was arrested Sunday morning with connection to the burglary which took place on the 500 block of Cordell; less than five blocks away from the other burglaries.

No further arrests have been made.
