Couple Indicted for Growing 'Shrooms

An Abilene couple has been indicted by a Taylor County grand jury for growing mushrooms in its closet.Jennifer May Little and John Christian Sanders were arrested in June of last year when police went to serve a warrant on Little for an unrelated charge.
After arresting her, they searched her apartment at the Cedar Run Apartments and found mushrooms growing.
Along with the mushrooms, instructions she had gotten off line on how to grow mushrooms were also confiscated.
They were both charged with possession of a controlled substance.
