Tyler Edwards

From a very young age, Tyler knew he had a passion for sports.  Whether it was playing toss with his dad in the front yard or waking up early to watch college football instead of Saturday cartoons, Tyler found his first love.

Tyler attended Weatherford High School and worked at the high school television station, and by coincidence or not, it was called KRBC (Kangaroo Broadcasting Company). The kangaroo is the school mascot.

After high school, Tyler went to Lubbock to pursue a degree in journalism and fell in love with Texas Tech.  While in Lubbock, Tyler started working at our sister stations, ABC/CBS affiliates KAMC/KLBK TV where he was an intern and later became a full-time employee.

Tyler joined KRBC in May of 2008 and joined the Bigcountryhomepage.com sports team in February of 2010.

Tyler left full-time duties with Bigcountryhomepage.com Sports in July 2011 to pursue a career in education. He continues to contribute during high school football season as a special correspondent and host.
