Hubbard is being held in the Taylor County Jail at this time under and $10,000 bond for evading arrest. Sergeant Cummins of the Taylor County Sheriffs Office describes what the sheriffs department's role was in the chase.

"Well in this particular situation it's just that our officers remain on standby," Cummins said, "so if the suspect moves out to the county areas. Also, we are vey aware of safety factors, and the risk to the public so our focus, and our paramount goal isto maintain a minimal amount of risk to the public"

Now Hubbard had agreed to go on camera to talk about the chase and why he ran, but upon arrival he declined.
