Monday's Martin Luther King Day had much more meaning to some.  Tuesday, when President-elect Barack Obama is sworn into office, he will become the nations first African-American President.

Some believe this is a miracle in the making.

"Dr. King had the dream and we feel like, to some degree, it's becoming full-filled," said Floyd Miller, President of the Abilene Black Chamber of Commerce.

Eugenia Burton, who vividly remembers the days of Dr. King, says she thinks this is a day that Dr. King really dreamed about.

"I remember quite a few years back myself," Burton said. "I lived through some of those times that Dr. King and others lived through."

For Burton, some of those times were hard/

"I didn't suffer through it as much as my mother did," Burton said. But Burton says she knows that tomorrow, Dr. King will be celebrating from up above.

"Oh my word!" Burton said. "In my imagination, he just must be shouting... he must be shouting."
