Arthritis and Happiness

It's already known that rheumatoid arthritis is more common among women than men. Now a study of about 6,000 patients from 25 countries shows the painful condition is tougher on women, too.
Researchers say women reported more severe symptoms associated with their rheumatoid arthritis, and were less likely to be in remission.
The reason for the gender difference is unclear.

According to recent survey data, 14 percent of americans say they are "not too happy."
Happiness scores have not been this low since 1972.
Researchers say the economy could be to blame.
Being married is the single biggest predictor of happiness.
People who were in a committed marriage had the most "very happy" responses.
