Bush Back Home in Texas

Several thousand people greeted former President Bush and his wife Laura as they arrived at a Waco airport tonight.

He said today is a fascinating day and asked the crowd to join him in offering prayers to President Barack Obama. Bush added it is a great day because he and the former First Lady got to come home once and for all.

Bush told the crowd that he is grateful for his friends in Texas who were his friends before his presidency, during and after. The former president says he stood on principles while serving in the White House, adding hell look in the mirror at his Crawford ranch and be proud of what he sees.

He also assured local residents and his Crawford neighbors that it wont be as hectic as it was while he served as president.

The Bushes will spend their first night out of the White House at their Crawford ranch.
