APD: Three Times the Legal Limit

On Tuesday, at about 6:30 P.M., Officer Shoemaker was dispatched to a call regarding a man urinating in public. Officer Shoemaker contacted a 52 year old white male in the 600 block of Oak. The subject was lying on the ground and was very intoxicated. The subject was a danger to himself and was arrested for Public Intoxication.
This morning, at about 12:12 A.M., Officer Peavy was dispatched to a vehicle accident call in the 3800 block of South Clack. Officer Peavy contacted a driver, who was a 26 year old hispanic male. This subject was so intoxicated he could not talk. The suspect was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated With An Accident. The suspect provided a breath sample that was three times the legal limit.
