Eula Fire Conditions

Firefighters will have to watch a blackened area in Callahan county for a few days.
The firemen are staying in the area that was charred Wednesday when sparks from a welder's torch ignited the dry grass.
The fire burned about 300 acres and threatened eight homes.
Fire-fighters had to put out a wild-fire in the same area two weeks ago when the same welder started a previous grass fire.
Firemen issued the welder and the landowner citations.
Hot spots are continuing to flare up because of the extremely dry conditions.
