When he first got the call, Brandon Newton was told his home was in the wildfires direct path, and had set fire. He didnt know what to think.

"I rushed home and when I got here, the fire was all around, it was just all around the house, Booster was in front of me, pulled up on the fire, and I was able to see that, it didnt even, it wasnt even touching the house."

When he arrived and saw that the flames had circled his home, without a single burn, he dropped to his knees.

"Theres nothing other than God, I mean, you know the whole way here I was praying and was ready to accept the loss, but I was praying and asking God to take care of us and you can see he did," Newton said.

Newton gives credit for his home being saved to local fire departments and a higher power.

"He burned our stickers for us too, so God is good and hes so amazing and wonderful, I thank him for that," Newton said. "The fire deparment did a great job getting out here taking care of all the homes that are around this area."

Newton says that now, he will dust off his property, and work hard to fire proof his house, to ensure their good luck will prevail.
