Wylie Press Box Restrictions Lifted

A global ordinance change was set by the Abilene City Council for buildings in the agricultural open space areas.

Wylie's football stadium is building a new press box and the height restrictions exceeded the previous zoning ordinance.

Now that the City Council approved the new ordinance, all buildings in the agricultural open space areas will be able to build however high they want.

Buildings in these agricultural areas still have to comply with other zoning restrictions such as airport zoning ordinances.
