Competitors jumped, pranced, and fetched for the judges this afternoon.  The annual Kennel Club Dog Show kicked off Saturday afternoon at the Taylor County Expo Center.

1,000 undefeated dogs were judged.  After a day of judging, the winners in each breed will compete at the group level.  From the groups, seven dogs are chosen to continue on to the best in show.

Owners groomed their dogs on the South side of the arena to prepare the pooches for the show.

The competition continues Sunday beginning at 2:30 p.m.
