APD: Woman Assaults 70-Year-Old

 Over the weekend, Officer Blankenship was dispatched to a disturbance call in the 2200 block of Huckleberry. While investigating the situation, Officer Blankenship contacted a 40 year old white female. While Officer Blankenship was speaking with this female, she kicked a 70 year old female who was also at the location. The victim felt pain but sustained no permanent injury. The suspect was arrested for assault.

Officer Joeris was dispatched to a suspicious subject call in the 1300 block of Sewell. According to residents, a 45 year old white male was looking in windows. When Officer Joeris contacted the subject, the man initially gave a wrong name. The suspect's true identity was confirmed and he was found to have two warrants for his arrest. The suspect was arrested for Failure To Identify and for the warrants.

Finally, Officer Gates was dispatched to a disturbance call in the 2200 block of Clinton. Officer Gates stopped a vehicle leaving the scene of the disturbance. During the investigation, a police K-9 alerted on the vehicle. The suspect, a 30 year old white female, was found to be in possession of marijuana and was arrested.
