TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE BIG COUNTRY...MAINLY NORTH AND WEST OF ABILENE...HAVE NOW DROPPED INTO THE UPPER 20S TO NEAR THE 30 DEGREE MARK. A LARGER AREA OF FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP...AND WITH TEMPERATURES CONTINUING TO SLOWLY FALL...ICY SPOTS WILL BEGIN TO DEVELOP ON AREA ROADWAYS. FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE AFTERNOON...THESE ICY SPOTS WILL MAINLY BE CONFINED TO ELEVATED SURFACES SUCH AS BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES...AND MAINLY FROM SWEETWATER TO ROBY...ANSON...AND HASKELL. HOWEVER...BY SUNSET...ICY SPOTS MAY BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD AND REACH INTO THE ABILENE AREA AS WELL. CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN WHEN TRAVELING ACROSS THE BIG COUNTRY.
