Math and Science Symposium

By: Courtnee Hembree
Updated: January 31, 2009
Today was a day all about learning, for teachers anyway.

Region 14 hosted a math and science symposium to allow teachers a chance to learn from each other. Several teachers taught there favorite and most unique class to their peers who can now teach it to there classes.

There were also several venders with some of the latest technology available for teachers. Forget blackboards and slide rules- Smart boards, iPods, laptop computers and much more are all apart of everyday learning now.

Many of today's classes also helped prepare teachers for the TAKS test which students will be taking at the end of April.
