Several more food companies have announced recalls in connection with a nationwide salmonella outbreak. The FDA has already issued a huge recall for many products containing peanut paste or peanut oil that were made at the Peanut Corporation of America's plant in Blakely, Georgia.
"Bear Naked," "NutriSystem," "Clif Bar and Company," "Best Brands Corporation," and "Ice Cream Specialties" are recalling various products that could be contaminated with salmonella.
More than 500 people have gotten sick in the salmonella outbreak, which is linked to at least eight deaths.
The FDA and the Justice Department have also launched a criminal investigation into the Peanut Corporation of America.
