APD: Calling All Rookies

 Over the weekend, Officer Santos Perez was dispatched to a disturbance call in the 1400 block of Lillius. Officer Perez contacted the victim who stated two family members, ages 44 and 20, choked and kicked the victim during an argument. The victim sustained a swollen nose and a bruised neck. A report was worked for Assault/Family Violence and the investigation continues.

Officer Ruiz stopped a vehicle in the 5100 block of Buffalo Gap road. The driver, a 37 year old white male, was intoxicated and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. The suspect had 2 prior DWI convictions.
