APD: More Dope, More DUI...

 On Monday, at about 4:25 P.M., Officer Woods responded to a disturbance call in the 700 block of east Highway 80. During the investigation, Officer Woods contacted a 19 year old white male who was found to be in possession of marijuana and the subject was arrested.

Later, at about 8:30 P.M., Officer Wilson responded to a vehicle accident call in the 8200 block of Highway 83/84. The driver, a 36 year old white male, was intoxicated and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

The Abilene Police Department is taking applications, through March 4th, 2009 for the position of police officer. You may receive an application by:
